Job description:

- System Engineer Vehicle Architect

Purpose of the position:

- Responsible for packaging of all the (sub)systems in the vehicle in compliance with the requirements.

 Position in the organization:

- Reporting to Chief Engineer Europe

Tasks:

- Verification of all requirements concerning (sub)system layout

- Creation of the package package-model in a PDM system

- Management of all development departments to meet the packaging requirements of all customers

- Creation and control of specific customer specifications

- Support in the decision making during the change management process

Communication:

-  Sharing and discussing observations and analysis with internal departments

-  Coordinating work with supervisor and immediate colleagues.

What should you bring:

-  A successfully completed engineering studies, e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable

-  At least two years of professional experience in a comparable position

- Confident use of MS Office

- Experience in PDM systems, TeamCenter is an advantage

- Experience in CAD, Catia is an advantage

- JAMA knowledge is an advantage

- Fluent written and spoken English skills, German skills would be plus

- Flexibility, stress resistance and willingness to travel

- Knowledge of the automotive or truck industry is an advantage
